Family Medicine Doctors in Roanoke, TX
Dr. Aminidhan Thakkar graduated from Hofstra University, where he received his bachelor of arts in biology and minored in chemistry and psychology. Dr. Thakkar earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a top-tier emergency/trauma residency at Jacobi/Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York in 1999. He was chief resident for emergency medicine before relocating to Texas.
Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Thakkar has a high level of expertise in treating acutely ill and injured patients. He is committed to continually improving patient care and prides himself on the compassionate and efficient attention he gives to each individual.
A devoted family man, Dr. Thakkar has been married 18 years and has two wonderful daughters. In addition to spending quality time with his family, Dr. Thakkar is passionate about photography, travel, and architecture. He enjoys being involved in and serving the communities of Roanoke, Trophy Club, Westlake, and Keller.
Dr. Ranjit Dhelaria, MD, MRCP (UK) is an associate professor of Medicine at UNT health Sciences. Dr. Dhelaria received his post graduate training in Internal Medicine at the western campus of Tufts University. He is dual board certified and is a Member of Royal college of Physicians of United Kingdom. Dr. Dhelaria is an established and highly skilled physician with over 15 years of experience and is well regarded in the medical community.
Through comprehensive treatment plans, patient education and monitoring, Dr. Dhelaria's goal is to help ensure the best possible quality of life for his patient. He has had several research papers that are published in various field of medicine. In his spare time, Dr. Dhelaria enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities.
A licensed certified physician assistant and cofounder of First MD Family Walk-In Clinic, Edward Martinez graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor of science in nursing and began his career as a registered nurse in 1998. He continued his education in 2002 at the University of Texas-Pan American, graduating with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Edward is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Edward is an experienced and professional healthcare provider who considers it a privilege to treat you. He is thorough in his assessments and takes the time to listen to your concerns in order to develop the best care plan for you. His professional interests include preventive medicine, and he is certified to provide bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. He offers treatment of acute and chronic illnesses and is proficient in many in-office surgical procedures.
Edward lives in Trophy Club with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his church. A 2-time Ironman finisher, Edward stays healthy by running, cycling, and swimming.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Diana graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a bachelor of science in microbiology and minors in chemistry and criminal justice. Prior to becoming a physician assistant (PA), she worked in a medical pathology lab.
Diana attended UT-Southwestern Medical Center for her PA studies. Since graduating in 2009, her concentration has been in primary care, working in outpatient family medicine and urgent care. For each patient, Diana focuses on integrating all aspects of body, mind, and soul to approach a better health solution.
Outside of the office, Diana enjoys reading, exercise, and spending time with family.
